Ingredients:
2 packs West Peak Meats Footlong Cheese grillers
8 Hot Dog buns
80ml Mayonnaise
1 Red Onion (Finely chopped)
250g Mini Plum tomatoes (Chopped)
10g Fresh Coriander
1 Chilli (Finely chopped – seeds removed for a milder salsa)
1 Lemon (Squeezed)
50 ml Olive oil
Salt & Pepper
Method:
Braai the Footlong Cheese grillers on the braai until golden.
Cut the Hot dog buns lengthwise and toast over the fire.
For the Salsa, add the chopped onion, tomato, chilli, coriander leaves, lemon juice and olive oil together in a mixing bowl and combine.
Season with salt & pepper & set aside.
To assemble, ad a spoon of mayonnaise on the inside of the hotdog bun, add the Footlong cheese griller &top with the tomato & onion salsa.
