Ingredients for Onion Rings
- 2 Medium sized onions cut in to rings
- 750ml Soda water
- 1 cup of flour
- 2 Tbsp. West Peak Meats Braai spice
- Olive oil
Method
Cut 2 onions into rings and place them in soda water, it must be covered in the water. Leave it to stand for at least 30 minutes.
Mix one cup of flour with 2 Tbsp. of West Peak Meats Braai spice. Remove the onions from the water and dip them into the flour and place it into the air fryer.
Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the onion rings. Fry them until they are crispy for approximately 20 minutes at 180 degrees, turning them over after 10 minutes.
Serve in a bun with West Peak Meats Kassegriller and your favourite sauces like mustard and ketchup (Kassegriller sausages are perfect on the braai)
