Gourmet smoked beef sandwich:
Ingredients:
Oats honey flavoured white bread
Medium onion, thinly sliced
Button mushrooms, sliced
Olive oil
Sweet mustard
Lettuce
Tomatoes sliced

Method:
Lightly toast three slices of Oats honey flavoured white bread to start. While that is happening, sauté half the onion and half a pack of mushrooms in olive oil until they are golden and fragrant.
Now it is time to layer – begin with the first slice of toast, butter it and top it with sweet mustard, lettuce, tomato and slices of smoked beef. Place the second slice of toast on top (spread with mayo on both sides), then add more smoked beef, the mushroom and onion mix and sprinkle feta. Finish with the last slice of toast, mayo-side down. For extra flair, season with black pepper and a touch of fresh thyme.

Start with two slices of oats honey-flavoured white bread and cut them into large circles using a wide-rim glass. Spread on some butter and mayonnaise, then layer with fresh lettuce and a few slices of our smoked beef.
