For this festive creation, we’ve combined the rich flavours of cooked salami, Cervelat salami, soft gouda, cherries, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, watermelon, and melon. Adding a touch of freshness, we’ve added fragrant thyme sprigs and sunflower shoots for a pop of greenery.
Now, let’s get creative with two ways to make these stunning salami roses:
Option 1: Tight half-open Rose (We used Cervelat Salami for this method) –
Place three pieces of salami next to each other, slightly overlapping.
Hold them securely and roll up the bottom part.
Roll again from one side to the other to form a tight half-open rose.
For added stability, use a toothpick to secure it in place.
Option 2: Layered Glass Method (We used Cooked Salami for this method) –
Take a glass and place one layer of salami on the rim, folding it halfway over.
Add another layer, ensuring the layers cross over for a visually appealing effect.
Repeat with a few layers, pressing gently to avoid breaking the salami.
Turn the glass over onto a plate, and carefully remove the glass.
